Diya Aur Baati Hum is an Indian soap opera series which airs on Star Plus channel. The show premiered on 29 August 2011 and star casts Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid. It is produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions. In mid 2012, a series of episodes were shown in Singapore, Delhi and Ajmer Diya Aur Baati Hum revolves around Sandhya Kothari daughter of Kanchan and Arvind Kothari. Episode starts with Kajiri all exhausted & Thakursa tells that she will not save his grandson as he rejected her plea to save her son. Someone shouts that the building is getting destructed. Kajiri is all exhausted. Suraj tells that she will do it & she is bit tired & she will do it. SAndy too tells that. Thakur remembers his illdoings to kajiri. Kajiri is too tired. Someone gives Water to her. Vishnu tells that he is danger as the fire has spread. KAjiri tells thakur not to worry & assures that she will save him. Kajiri walks on the rope. KAjiri imbalances a bit due to tiredness. Everyone shocked. Vishnu asks kajiri to come fast. Kajiri nods. Kajiri reaches the opp side & picks up vishnu on her back. Kajiri asks him to hold her tight. Kajiri walks on the rope. Everyone watches her. Thakur shivers out of fear. KAjiri atlast reaches the safer side. Everyone relieved.
Thakur hugs his grandson. Sandy helps kajiri to get down & makes her sit on the floor. Gives her water. Bhabho & others look at kajiri with a thankful sigh. Sandy looks at the children. & everyone does the same. SAndy tells its all becoz of kajiri. Kajiri cries by resting her head on sandy’s shoulder & tells that sandy was right. Bhabho comes out from the room & looks at those matkas & remembers her challenges (swamiji & ems case). & remembers maasa’s words abt sandy (its her good fortune to have sandy) & meena ‘s words yesterday. Also looks at sandy reading at the balcony. Bhabho remembers meena’s words & look at sandy repeats this & holds her chain out of fear ( :lol: )
Ems parents come & wishes them. They give some gifts to meena. Meena happily receives it & tells that she didn’t expect this as they were from other religion. Episode starts with Bhabho telling that she wants sandy to take over the responsibility on being the first DIL of RM. Everyone gets shocked. Adds that maasa has already handed over to sandy. Bhabhasa asks how can she do it as she doesn’t know rit rivaz ritual. Bhabho tells that she will learn & not now when will she. MEena tells that she is right to vik. Chavi tells that how sandy can do that. If she does surely momily marriage will be destroyed. Bhabho tells sandy is capable of anything & tells what rituals are followed in this wedding & tells sandy will take care of meena & her baby then. Meena gets scared & tells that she wants to eat ladoo of bhabho only & if sabdy does she can’t do. Sandy tells that she will take over the responsibility & asks her to help if she needs any help. She goes to take out pen & paper. Bhabho leaves the hall.
SurYa in their room & suraj lists out everything one by one. Sandy asks how can they do everything in a short span. Suraj tells that they can do by preparing a time table. They start preparing time table. what to do & when to do.
Suraj counts seven books & thinks they have only seveen days left & thinks that he has to plan so that sandy can manage both. Suraj prepares out a separate time table for sandy & gives it to her. SAndy gets excited & both decide to fix both the time tables on the wall.

Episode starts with bhabho leaving with the hall ticket. Meena suspects bhabhi to have become like her & follows her. Bhabho enters surya room & keeps it on the table & meena worries & her eyes falls on the time table. She comes near bhabho who is looking at the balgopal & meena adds that sandy will not fufill that wish like her & diverts her to thetimetable & lists out the studying time & counts it to seven hrs of study. Adds that how can a person study seven hrs in this situation & blah blahs Meena asks for the balgopal but bhabho denies. Bhabho glaces the timetable once again. Meena tries to tear the hall ticket but stops
andy reading. Suraj comes & does some work. Sandy feels pain in her hand & could not write. Suraj puts ointment. SAndy tells its ok now & both continues their work. Suraj sleeps on the chair itself & drops the scissors & wakes up bythat sound.. Finds sandy awake & asks her to take rest. Sandy tells only few minutes left & suraj asks her tea or coffee. Episode starts with Dhaisa wishing sandy & feeds chocolates to her on the saying of Bhabho. Suraj watches this. Chavi comes in & asks for chocolate. Bhabho taunts her by saying that she used to tell that she is in diet always. Chavi realises & stops. Bhabhasa comes & asks everyone to leave so that they can welcome ems & sandy chavi can read too.
Grahapravesh (bride’s welcoming ritual ) starts. Sandy & chaturi enter the house first to make preparations. Grahapravesh is organised by sandy. Sandy asks ems to first step in by using her right feet. Ems follows her instructions. Chaturi brings 7 plates for another ritual. She places them on the floor & asks ems to take those one by one without making noise while mohit has to separate them using the sword.. Sandy feels dizzy. Bhabho looks at her.
Sandy tells that she has prepared for the guests return gift. Bhabho stops her by saying that she will take care of the rest & asks her to prepare for exams & asks chavi to go with sandy. Bhabho tells meena will help her. Meena gets shocked. Meena tells self that nothing has changed even after giving birth to a son. Adds that bhabho doesn’t know what she has done for that. Bhabhsa asks sandy to leave so that chavi tooo pass in exams & adds that dilip’s mom needs educated girl. Chotu gives pen to both sandy & chavi & wishes them Adds that they might leave before he wake up tomorrow. Both leave. Ems calls bhabho. Bhabho asks meena to leave ems to her room.

Chavi asks doubt to sandy. Sandy tells that she doesn’t know that chapter. Sandy feels dizzy. Sandy wonders what is happening to her. Chavi stares at her & continues reading.
Mohit enters the room. Takes off his pagdi. (turban). Asks ems that she would be happy now. & everything happened as per her wish. Ems shocked.
Break: Ems tells that they have become man & wife now & asks him to forget the past. Mohit tells that he can’t
Ems touches his hand & he gives an angry look. Ems asks him what is he talking & tells that they wanted to live together & love each other. Mohit tells that if she had loved him truly she wd have not dragged him to police & adds that he lost his reapect & everyone mocks at him & she is telling that she loves him now.
Sandy tries to concentrate but fails to read & deels dizzy again & again.
Ems tells that he shd understand her situation & she does everything for the sake of their children. Mohit tells that hshe has made a huge drama & didn’t care abt the others. Ems tells that she doesn’t do that . She adds that she does care for others & thats why she did all these. she adds that they must start their life afresh & asks him to forget everything. Mohit tells that he can’t.
Break: sandy decides to wake the full night as plenty of portions to be covered.
Mohit tells that he will not acccept her even his family accepted her. Says that she has becum mrs mohit rathi bcoz of sandy & adds that she wil not get hubby’s love ever.
Here sandy wipes her eyes with handkerchief but feels dizzy. She stands up & tries to read, Chavi notices her but makes faces. Sandy tells self that she has become more weak today & worries that her preparation is not up to the mark & has to cover more portions. She decides to stay awake the whole night.
