Does Remarriage equate to marriage...does a person feel the same excitement, same enthusiasm about his remarriage as he felt about his first marriage. Along with remarriage , the duties, responsibilities remain the same as marriage , even if you dont wish to yet you have to fulfil these duties. Expectations from such remarriage remain the same as the first marriage, does an individual feel the same enthusiasm to fufill these dreams and expectations as the first marriage ?
Thus Punar Vivaah is a story about two individuals who are heartbroken, two individuals who have shared their lives with some else earlier, who have shared those magical moments of first marriage with someone else yet due to circumstances now they are bonded into the holy institution of marriage for a second time and from there begins the journey they embark upon thereafter.

Location: Yash’s residence
Ishita hears to arti talking about yash’s rude behaviour to radha. Arti pleads that she didnt do anything intentionally as she’s after all, her mother. she asks radha is ayu would be found, and everything would be alright. radha comforts her that soon everything would be alright, and asks her not to feel bad about yash, saying that she’s wise and shouls behave like one. But arti says that she isnt wise, as she lost her son, and yash is right in scolding her, as she hasnt proven to be a good mother, and . Arti leaves from there, beyond consolation. Radha too leaves. ishita smiles.
Buaji turns her around and asks why is she so happy to see arti crying. ishita says that she isnt, as who would be happy to see any couple seperating, and drawing a rift between them. Buaji says that she isnt talking about any couple but about yash and arti. she says that seeing them seperate, ishita’s wish would have come true. Having been put the truth so blatantly, ishita is at a loss of an answer, to buaji’s questions. ishita denies it saying that, this sint what she wants, and arti herself is responsible for this. She thinks that she would have to stay away from buaji, as she can read faces, and would be a problem, if she knows that she was behind all this. she asks buaji if she can go, or buaji still has more questions for her. After she leaves, Buaji thinks that this girl is super smart, and she would have to keep an eye on her.
Arti, is sitting lonely in her room, grief stricken, yash’s words resonant in her ears. Yash, is in his room, lost in ayu’s memories. They are both, deeply hurt at the latest turn of events. The kids come to arti and ask her not to cry, as they would be sad too, and ask her the reason for her crying. Arti wipes her tears and says that she isnt crying and its good that they came as she has work for them. she tells them about yash’s anger, and asks them if they would feed yash, after trying to talk to him, and play with him, and get his mood right. Arti leaves to get food for yash. After she’s gone, palak says that arti isnt right, and yash and arti are actually not on talking terms. They decide to befreind yash and arti. when she comes back, the kids assure her that they would get yash’s mood right and leave.
In yash’s room, the kids try to get yash to eat, saying that they also wont eat otherwise. Finally yash gives in, and eats himself and feeds the kids too. Arti sees this from a distance and is happy. she thinks that yash cant do anything, but not see his kids unhappy. They ask him to sleep as he must be tired, while yash keeps saying that he isnt tired, and asks them to go to sleep in their room. on their insistence, yash lies in their lap, and they cuddle him, and press his head, so that he dozes off. arti says that she’s responsible for yash’s sadness. she promises to herself that she would find out, who ayu is with, and would get him back safely.
In her room, Ishita scolds and reprimands the kidnappers for their carelessness, and thinks of not giving them even money. He tells her that they would come to her house to collect the money, as he did what she wanted them to do, while condemning her for the same. He says that they would get straight to her and come to her house, if she tries to be smart. ishita asks if she’s being threatened by them. they say that they arent threatening, but advising her, as she’s too of the same league as them, being a criminal. As she cancels the phone, Ishita doesnt like the idea of them coming to the house, and thinks that she would have to be super cautious always, in case they come to the house.
The kidnapper tells about the orphanage to ishita, and the baby being there. Ishita doesnt liek the idea, but the kidnapper say that they couldnt bring themselves to kill the cute kid, and hence hd no other option. The kidnapper reprimands ishita, for being a witchy woman, who doesnt even care for an innocent child. he leaves, taking the money. She thinks that she knows the name of the orpahanage, but wonders where this is.
As arti walks out of the house, she finds the kidnapper going, and wants to know who is it. As the kidnapper tries to run, arti catches hold of him, knowing that he’s responsible for ayu’s disappearance. ishita is very scared, and thinks that now that arti has seen him, she would wake the whole family. And wonders if they are caught, and take her name, it would ruin her plan. she is very scared. But to her relief, the kidnapper struggles free from arti’s grip, and runs to the bike, where another kidnapper waits for him. they speed off, while arti loses them.
Just then, the guys in the house, are told by arti, when they run out, hearing her screams, about the kidnappers. They run towards the outside. She tells radha what she saw, and how she put up a fight. She tells this to yash too. They come back and say that there was noone outside. But arti doesnt want to believe this. She vehemently says that she saw 2 people going on the bike, and she’s sure that they are the kidnappers. She tries to convince yash too, but he stands stoical, expressionless. ishita comes in saying, that they understand her pain, but noone saw anything. Arti doesnt listen to anyone. when she finds that noone’s believeing her, she decides to go herself. As arti begins to go out, all the guys try and stop her.
ishita thinks that arti has gone mad, in the loss of her son. and thats haappened, because like everytime, yash isnt there to support her in her claims. Radha asks yash to stop arti. Noone, in the family could stop her. Finally, Yash stops arti, holding her by the hand, saying that she wont go anywhere. Arti says that ayu is her child, and she would go after the kidnappers, to find out about her child. yash says that she wont go anywhere, at this time in the night, but arti is undeterred, saying that she doesnt care if people think that she’s mad, and she would prove that she isnt mad. But yash forcibly takes her inside the house, while she continues her rant of going after ayu. ishita smiles seeing arti like this.
After a month, ishita thinks, while preparing halwa for yash, that this would make way for her in yash’s heart. Yash doesnt even like to eat arti’s food, and doesnt even want to be with her, and the sweet dish that she’s preparing, would geet them closer. Buaji comes in and reprimands her for being so callous, as to be celebrating with sweets, when the whole house, is dowsed in sadness. She says that she thinks that ishita’s responsible for all thats happenning. ishita says that she’s doing this for her husband. Buaji tanuts her saying that she considers her husband, as akash, coming to terms with her fate finally. She says that buaji might think whatever she wants to, but she would do it for akash. Buaji says that she’s seen so many girls, but she cant fathom what goes inside her head. she says that she’s sure that something is up, that she cant understand, and there’s some reason, that she keeps doubting her again. She says that the day she finds out the truth about ishita, she wont spare her. Ishita says that when that happenes, she would herself come to her. Ishita takes her leave. Buaji thinks that she hopes ayu is found, as its been a month, and hopes that soon everything would be alright, and ayu would be fine and back with them. The screen freezes on buaji’s tensed face.

Arti is superjoyed, but is confused when she is told to get her ID proof, and the required documents, and also heer husband has to be present. The lady tells her that Pari had called them for an adoption, and they have found the baby that meets her requirements. Arti says that she would call pari, to taalk to her. As pari comes, arti thinkss that god is testing her patience, by giving her false hopes time and again. pari listens to the caretaker, who explains the whole process of
Pari says that she didnt tell anyone, not even prateik. She told them that she had wanted a baby, i.e. a couple of months old. Pari says that now she would have a hard time convincing him, as he wants him own child. She tlls arti about the dilemma, that a child going away has created rift between her and yash, and the prospect of a child coming has seperated herself and prateik.
Pari says that she herself is so tensed, and she doesnt feel like taking her help. But arti promises her to help, as that would bring hope and haappiness into the family, once again. Pari thanks her and arti decides to go and talk to prateik regarding this. they both go. While prateik is adamant on his stance, but arti tries to convince him that ayu would bring happiness into their life. Arti tries to show, how she isnt a mother to palak and payal, though not related biologically, and the same is for yash and ansh. She says that they wouldnt have been able to adopt to the kids, who they didnt give birht o, had they followed what prateik is doing right now. She tells him, that a child would fill their void in their lives, and asks him not to let go of this oppurtunity. She brings pari to him. Prateik tells paari that whatever doubt he had, has been cleared by arti, and decidesd to adopt the baby. Pari thanks and hugs him. She then turns to arti and thanks her too, for this generous contriution, even when she’s sad, thinking about others’ happiness. she says that she hopes that she gets her ayu soon.
Ishita comes to arti, who’s very tensed. and tlls him that she’s got halwa for him, and tells her that he shouldnt torture himself for arti’s mistakes. She sits by his side, and then tries to feed him. He tells her that he hasnt given her the right to impose her ight on him. yash asks her to preserve her own respect, as a woman, and also as a daughter in law of this family. He asks her to leave. ishita is frustrated and begins to leave. Just then Yash gets DCP”s call, shocking ishita. He tells yash that they have found the owner of the car, and hence they would find ayu too soon. When yash repeats this, it shocks ishita who thinks that she would have to go, asap so that they dont get to ayu. yash too tells the DCP that he would soon come. Ishita leaves.
Ishita is tensed. Akaash comes and says that now he feels that she doesnt love him. He tries to get romantically involved with her, saying that he’s changed for the better. She says that she had come to get some peace of mind, and asks him to go and sleep. He says that he hadnt come to disturb her, just that he doesnt get sleep without her. saying so, he leaves. Ishita says that the only person she loves is yash, and she would do anything, to get aayu out of the orphanage. She thinks that she would have to send ayu away from the orphanage. As only then she would be able to take arti away from yash.
Arti and yash sleep with their backs turned to each other, both wide awake. He thinks that he knows about the car, but not about the kidnappers. He thinks that he loves ayu dearly and misses him very much. Arti too is thinking the same. they turn towards each other at the same time. Finally yash allows arti to sleep in the cuddle of his arms. They are both, much in paain, but still there for each other. While arti looks upto yash, yash wipes the tears from the corner of her eyes, and lovingly caresses her hair. yash wakes up surprised at her daydream. Arti turns around again, while yash is in a stance. Finally yash too turnds around. They both silently weep.

The caretaker raises doubtThe caretaker says tht she cant give that baby to her, as she gave that baby, to a couple, that morning only. when ishita asks who she gave him to, the lady says that she cant divulge that information. ishita is tensed. She gives her money, and says that rules can be changed. The caretaker is surprised, but says that now she understands why does she want this baby only. The caretaker asks her if she has any connection with the baby, as it might be that she’s the mother to that child. Or else how does she know that such a baby came to them. she concocts up a story, that one of the ladies told her so. When she asks why the bribe, ishita explains that she was just giving a donation. ishita leaves in haste, so that she isnt probed further.

Paridhi comes out to see ishita lurking and asks her.. whats happened.. peeping like this in someone's room is not good..
Ishita says.. how did Aayu come to you.. did the kidnappers get caught.. did they say something.. did police say something
Paridhi says.. ohh wait wait.. wait for the answers.. this is not Aayu.. we adopted this kid from an orphanage..
Ishita says.. which orphanage...?
Paridhi says... mukti orphanage..
Paridhi leaves..
ishita thinks.. ohh the husband and wife to adopt Aayu is Pratik-Paridhi only.. it's destiny only that the kid Aarti is keeping close is her Aayu only.. its my luck that no one recognises him but what if Aarti's mother instinct recognises him.. i will have to do something...

Arti tells pari that she must have kept the AC on, due to which ayu caught fever. She asks pari to go in the kitchen, and make some Kaada for the baby. Ishita sees this and says that she wont let anything happen to her plans, and that she went through a great deal of risk, while kidnapping the baby, but arti came back in yash’s life, despite her efforts, but not anymore.
While pari is preparing the kaada in the kitchen, ishita comes in and tries to instigate pari, after having first asked for ayu’s health, and aso tells that a mother shoud ideally be with the baby, but arti carefully sidelined her and instead herself went to take care of the baby, and be with her. Pari says that arti is no less than ayu’s mother and had Arti has already lost her own son, and hence she cant see anyone having a good time, with their child. Ishita finds pari tensed, and is happy that she has finally succeded in her plans, and that this slap would cost her tight, as now everytime she plans a revenge on arti, pari’s name would also come up with her.
While arti is playing with ayu, yash calls up prateik informing about the latest developmenst about thei shifting to anew house in mumbai. Prateik asks yash not to talk indirectly with her, through him, as he already knows it all. He asks yash to tell it to arti himself. Arti breaks into a huge burst of laughter. They get into a friendly banter, each accusing the other of being flirtatious. Yash instigates her on the name of girls. Arti gets into a protective mode, while yash keeps trying to ask her to calm down, due to the baby. Finally he lies in arti’s lap. Arti reminds yash that they never thought they would fall in love with each other so bad, when at first they couldnt even stand the sight of each other. They get into jovial romancing.
While leaving, the kids discuss how much they woud miss this house. All are emotional, and unwilling to leave the house. All share their experiences. Radha says that suraj’s love and pain for the house is paramount, and he has already called up ten times since morning. Buaji calls her for another call by suraj, and she leaves to attend the call. Buaji asks them not to be sad, as it would be a fresh new beginning to their life.

All are getting ready to leave, while the kids are playing in the courtyard for one last time. They get into the car anddrive off.
Scene 2:
Location: Yash’s residence in Mumbai
Arti is reaching out, to suitcases kept on the almirah, and is about to fall, disbalancing herself, but yash catches her midway, and they both start smiling, but soon they grow stiff, having remembered ayu. They begin doing their normal chores, trying to avoid the other. Yash is setting up portraits of them in the room. Arti thinks that in Mumbai, their love took a different turn towards romance, and they conceived ayu, and now that they have come back, their ayu isnt with them. Yash goes on about his work, and yash too is thinking the same, and wishes deeply that ayu was with them, and hopes that wherever he is, ayu is happy. Arti thinks that its difficult to live like this, where they have grown so apart, thay cant even be with each other. Yash thinks that he knows arti isnt to be blamed for what happened, but whenver he thinks of ayu, arti’s image crops up in his mind.
Radha asks the kids not to be naughty as they would break something. She is busy setting up the stuff along with the others. Hearing ayu cry, arti expresses her concern, and takes the baby, at which the baby instantly stops crying. Arti wonders what kind of a relationship she has with this child, and everytime she holds him, she calms down. Pari too comes in saying that he shouldnt be habituated to the lap, and shows everyone the gift ishita has given, and shows a pram. Arti is tensed. they discuss as to how many things are now available for the baby. Pari thanks ishita, but she says that she too has a connection with the child and hence gifted her, and she would have done the same for arti’s ayu. She apologizes that she shouldnt have said that, and did it unintentionally. Arti is upset and leaves from there. Radha too leaves along with her, to help her unpack. They get the carton in the room. Radha says that they should leave it here only. As arti begins to go, her saree gets stuck under the carton, and when she tries to take it out, she accidentallt tears off the lid of the carton. Arti is surprised to find yash’s photo in akash and ishita’s bag, and wonders why are they there. she wonders if akash is upto some surprise and goes on to explore more. She is surprised to find love letters written by someone who had been approached for marrying yash, but he declined. She thinks that ishita was the girl who had been asked to marryu yash, before arti’s proposal came, and yash had declined to marry her since she wasnt even m,arried once, and he didnt want to spoil the life of an unmarried girl. Then again, yash left her at the altar, when ansh had gotten kidnapped. She understands that twice yash had declined her offer, and that has made ishita want him all the more. She is shocked at this revealing. She finds a silhouette in the window and is scared, and then sees akash entering the room. she says that she had found the carton lid torn off, and hnec was arrannging the things. Akash comes and asks her not to work, and tells her to bles him so that his love life may also start. Arti wonders how ishita so easily is betraying him and herself too maybe. Akash is very hopeful that just like yash and arti’s romance started here, his love life would start too. Arti leaves citing reasons for some other work.
Arti walks out in a trance, remembering what she just saw, but wonders that maybe its long in the past, and now maybe there wouldnt be much of anything to worry about. Ayu’s crying voice distrcats her however, and she starts approaching pari’s room. Ishita, however reaches before her, and asks pari to quietn her child fast, or else, she would find another reason to come and take her baby. Arti, at the door, is surprised to hear her talk like this. Arti hears ishita telling pari, that she just tries to prove that she’s the best mother in the world, and pari completely naive. Pari expresses her problem. ishita says that its just a fake concern, as the truth is that she, after having lost her child, now wants to take pari’s. She blames arti’s carelessnes due to which ayu was lost, and palak got wounded. She says that arti has her eyes on your child, and therefore also gave her child’s name to pari’s. Pari says that she wont even let arti’s shadow be cast on her child. Arti leaves hastily in anger.
As she walks out in a huff, buaji asks why is she angry. When arti avoids, buaji asks again, but she doesnt say anything and leaves. Buaji understands that she has known of some plan, that ishita is concocting again. she thinks that ishita is troubling herslef, even thinking about putting arti in trouble, but wonders that this itself gives spice to their otherwise boring life. She decides to go talk to ishita.
Buaji goes to ishita, and taunts her for trying to beutify herself. They get into a verbal scuffle, at which ishita asks why is she here, as she doesnt have the time to talk to her. Buaji tells her that she would have to listen to her as she is responsible for getting her in the house, as she suggested her name for marriage to yash. Ishita reminds her that both the times, she didnt get to marry yash, and ended up with the fool, Akash. Buaji reminds ishita about yash being her elder brother in law and warns her not to come in between arti and him, and . She reminds that arti isnt very happy with her as it is, and therefore she shouldnt risk coming in her eyes, doing something inappropriate. Ishita is tensed. Scene 1:
Location: Yash’ s residence in Mumbai
Arti is lying in her bed, thinking about ishita’s behaviour recently, and her remarks at everything. Yash notices this. Arti remembers ayu’s kidnapping. Yash asks her whats the matter, but she doesnt say anything. Arti remembers ishita taking her baby from the hospital, and wonders why she didnt think of this before, that ishita mightbe behind ayu’s kidnap, and combines two and two together. She wakes up saying that this cant be. Yash asks what happened. Arti thinks that she shouldnt tell yash anything about ishita without any proof. She thinks that she cant afford another mistake. Yash thinks that arti was thinking about ayu, and what happened with him, cant be forgotten. Arti says that she remebers ayu all the time, and blames herself for this. Yash places a reassuring hand on her, and asks her to compose herself and tries to get her water, but she says that she would get so herself. Yash thinks that he had blames arti for ayu’s kidnapping, and that has made this condition of arti.
As Arti comes down in a trance, she is distracted by noises coming from ishita’s room. She finds akash getting angry on ishita for not letting him get close to her, and letting him hang by the string. He asks her plainly if she loves or has someone else in her life. Ishita hurtles him aside, and smilingly says that he’s very intelligent, but yet he wants to hear it from her mouth. She says that she doesnt love him at all. Akash is distraught, and asks why is she with him yet. He asks if she wants a divorce. She catches him by the hand, and pulls her to bed. Ishita romantically tries to seduce akash, surprising him too, saying that he is the connecting link between her and her ultimate love. Arti is very shocked that she wasnt wrong after all, that ishita is in a one sided love with yash, and now she’s so mad that she is going to the extent of using akash to get to yash. Akash asks what does she mean. She says that its difficlut for her to come to terms with the fact, about the way she had gotten married. Akash gives him some more time, for one night, and then tell him tomorrow if she wants to be with him or not. Saying so, he leaves in a huff.
Arti collapses on the stairs, thinking about what she just heard, and that ishita is still after yash. Yash finds her on the stairs and comes to her, and asks what happened, and why is she still alone. Arti clings to him, and says that she cant afford to lose him. He assures her that nothing would happen to him, and he would forever be by her side. He takes her upstairs.
The next morning, arti remembers ishita’s words last night, and is very tensed. She forgets that the lmilk is almost boiling. Radha comes and asks her where was she lost. She tells arti that she understands her pain of losing ayu, and she wont ask her to forget ayu, but not be in pain so much so, that she distances herself from yash, and that she shouldnt be afraid of anything, and should do everything to save her love. she asks arti to go oputside and see if everyone’s had breakfast.
Ishita tries to get close to yash, finding him alone on the breakfast table, saying that she’s especially made upma for him. She serves him with much love, and yash is very irritated. Arti ses this and is shocked. She asks if he had breakfast. Yash says that its good that she came, as he’s waiting for the brothers to come, and he doesnt feel like having upma. Others too come at the dining table. Pankaj tells yash to go to bhopal to finalise the deal of their house, as they are getting good people living there now. But yash says that he wont be able to go, and instead suggests akash’s name for the same, giving him the power of attorney. Pankaj agrees. Ishita is happy that she would be rid of akash for some days, and she would have to captivate yash by then. Ishita leaves, saying that she would pack his bag, for going to bhopal.
Coming to her room, Ishita thinks that once akash is gone, she would dream her future together with yash, her yash. She lies on the bed, content. But wakes up thinking about arti, and how to get rid of her, so that she can get close to yash. She says that they had come from bhopal in a hurry, and hence there’s lots of work pending. She thinks that the TC have to come for the kids so that they get admission in some Mumbai school, and this she should tell arti, who too will have to go to bhopal, then, leaving her time alone with yash. As she begins to go tell this to arti, she turns around to find arti, standing behind her. As ishita fumbles through her words, Arti slaps ishita, hard on her cheeks, saying that the veil is off her face, and that she knows everything about her reality now. Ishita is very tensed and suprised. She is asked point blank that she is staying back, to get yash, and hence got ayu kidnapped too. Arti asks her not talk, as she is not the woman who will bow down to situations, and that she would show her what a woman can do, when her marriage or motherhood is in danger. Arti says that its been almot two months, that she hasnt seen her Ayu, and she pines for him every single moment and continues to ask her where’s ayu. When ishist says that she doesnt know, and that she’s talking nonsense, she is treated with another tight slap on her face, knocking the wind out of her lungs. Arti shouts at her, but ishita doesnt confess. Arti says that she’s lying, and she wants her to accept it, that she wants yash to be with her. ishita says that she did love yash, but not anymore, as they are both happily married now. Ishita presents an explanation for arti’s barrage of questions, but arti is dissatisfied, and keeps accusing her of having an evil eye on her family. She goes into emotional blackmailing, as to how she cant do something so evil, as kidnapping ayu. Ishita tells arti to go to the family, and tell everyone everything, and as usual they would believe her only. She says that she is habituated to people leaving her, just like her parents and now her in laws. Ishita says that for something that has no foundation whatsoever, the whole family would break, and gayatri wouldnt have wanted that when she left the responsibility of the family on arti and yash. Ishita says that she might not believe her, but she hasnt done anything with ayu, and immediately folds her hand in front of arti, baffling her.
Akash finds ishita standing in front of arti, with folded hands, and asks whats the matter. When she doesnt respond, akash is addressed by arti who tells him everything, shocking him also. Arti tells akash that he shouldnt bother about any enemity between them, and that he should concentrate about his trip to bhopal tomorrow. As arti leaves, he instructs her not to say anything to arti, as she’s already grief stricken. seeing ishita crying, akash goes to get her water. She thinks that arti knows everything, and she would have to be very cautious now, and before she throws her out of the house, she would have to do something.
Arti thinks that she knows that ishita is lying through her teeth, but she doesnt have anything to prove this, and till then, she cant tell anything to yash and akash, as that would break gayatri’s dream of a happy family. She says that she wont let anything bad happen to her family, and for the sake of her child, and her family, she would have to be strong and resilient so that she can show ishita’s true face in front of everyone.
The next day, yash is exercising, and ishita sees him from hiding, and watches mesmerised. She comes inside and calls out to yash, who is baffled. then she addresses him as yashji, saying that she has to talk very importantly with him, and asks when can she talk alone with him. Yash says that she should talk in front of arti. She says that she cant talk in front of arti, as this concerns ayu, and arti goes berserk everytime ayu is mentioned. She places a hand on his arm, and yash flinches, and she removes her hand. She says that she couldnt see his pain, and she hired a private detective who found something very important. Yash immediately asks what is it, and how can he meet the detective. She tells him that soon the detective would come to Mumbai from Bhopal. She asks him not to divulge this to anyone, especially arti, as she would grow restless and would do something hasty, and spoil the detective’s efforts, and also alarm the kidnappers, making their ayu go further away. He promises that he wont say anything to anyone, just that he wants to meet the detective soon. ishita says that he would fix a meeting soon.
After yash leaves, ishita thinks that she has laid the trap, and soon the victim would fall, and then arti wont be able to do anything. Arti would have to repent for entire life, for the way she smartly found out about her. While pari is looking after the child, and others are seated at the dining table, when the kids come with a two tier cake, for their mothers on the MOTHERS DAY. they wish their mothers. The sons of the family, take blessings from Radha. The children invite them about the celebration to be held in the colony, for MOTHERS DAY. They all agree to come. When they invite yash, he doesnt respond. Ishita thinks that at five in the evening, she would take yash to the meeting venue, then how would he attend the celebration. When the kids insistently ask him about this, Yash says that he wont be able to come as its an emergency, or else he would never have had to say this. Arti asks what so important over the kids’ happiness. Yash leaves without saying anything, leaving everyone baffled. Prateik asks the kids not to worry, as it must have been something really improtant. Arti is very tensed.
In his room, yash thinks that he’s doing this for his child, and that he would definitely get ayu back. Ishita comes in and pats him on the back. As he turns around, she tells him that at five in the evning, they are meeting in the blue diamondhotel. Yash immediately agrees to come. After he leaves, ishita thinks that after tonight, he would repent as to why did he agree to her, but she wont repent anything, as after a long time, she would get to live her dream.

Scene 1:
Location: Yash’s residence in mumbai and in the hotel
As arti comes with the food, she finds aysh stuck, trying to wear a shirt. She gives him a lecture, and then goes on to eradicate his dilemma. She helps him get dressed. as she is about to go, he holds her hand from behind, and turning her around and says that soon the sadness that has engulfed her would be over, and he would bring a smile back to her face again. arti says that he neednt bother about that, as he has the fullest faith in him. Seeing arti so hard trying to cope up for her sake, Yash thinks that he should tell arti that his important work is regarding ayu. Yash says that he values his happiness about the kids more than anything else, and therefore he has a very important reason and surpise too for her, becuase of which he is going today. He hugs her tight saying that he would forever be with her, once he gives her the best surprise of her life.
While the whole family is excited about the celebration of Mother’s day, Ishita thinks that she has to reach in the next 15 minutes, as yash is very punctual, and hence she has to leave the family early. Ishita pretends that she gets a phone call from akash, saying that he needs to talk to her urgently. She asks them to go ahead, as she would soon follow. Arti remembers ishita’s negligence in going to the temple too earlier with the family, and then finding her on the phone, wonders if she’s making an excuse again. She gets radha’s call, and has no option but to leave. Seeing them gone, Ishita cancels the phone, and leaves.
They attend the community function. Arti is tensed that something isnt right, and thinks about calling yash. She tries his number, and yash, picks it up in the hotel, and tells that he’s waiting for the client. As arti asks where is the meeting, yash asks if she’s doubting him. She says that she’s just feeling worried and hence called him up. Yash asks her not to worry, as he would soon finish his work, and then join them if possible, and that she should just pray that this meeting be a success. After cancelling the phone, arti hopes that everything would be alright.
As arti tries to help pari in managing the bbay, she again is rudely confronted by pari, who asks her to manage herown business, and not try to meddle with her child. Vidhi reprimands her for talking like that. But pari says that she lost her own son, due to her own carelessness, and now is eyeing her child. As pari leaves, vidhi asks her not to feel bad, especially not on mother’s day, and that she also shouldnt feel bad. She says that she hoeps they find out something about the person, who is responsible for ayu’s loss. Arti is in contemplation.
Arti prays to the Goddess that its her prayer to her, that arti would be helped by her, in finding about ayu, and then showing ishita’s true face to everyone. Just then, she notices the dancers, and thinsk that its the same dancer, who had come on ayu’s celebration party, and had given them a scare of his kidnapping. The dancer is confronted by arti, who keeps her asking who asked her to kidnap ayu. The dancer says that she’s right in assuming this, and is about to spill the name of the person, who asked her to do this, but she is stopped by radha, who interrups them, and then when arti turns back again, she doesnt find the dancer there. she is very tensed, and radah is puzzled seeing her like this.
Scene 2:
Location: In the hotel and yash’s residence
Ishita fixes up a waiter, and tells her that she will order for a juice, and then he knows what he has to do. The waiter nods, taking in the package of money, that she gives him. Ishita thinks that while arti is celebrating Mother’s day, her happiness would be done and over with. She comes to the table, and then as per plan, orders a juice. She asks him not to think anything, and cupping his cheek with her hand, says that tonight something would be significant, that would tell them about ayu. Yash jerks her hand away. He finishes the juice, much to her. She thinks that this medicine would just take 15 more minutes to work, and then yash would be all hers. The waiter comes and tells them, that they should wait in Room No 402, where Mr. Harsh Rastogi has asked them to wait for him. Ishita smiles at her plan working, when yash nods.
The celebration begins in full swing, with dances and cultural programmes happening. Arti thinks that she shouldnt try his phone, again, but cant resist herself. But the mobile in ishita’s hand, causes ishita to cancel the phone
As she tries the phone again, she cant get through, and is asked by radha to come and sit along with them to enjoy the function.

As the detective is getting late, as cited by ishita, yash is in a dizzy state, ishita gets him water and deliberately poursd it on yash, so that she can ask for the shirt to be removed. But yash vehemently denies. But Ishita insistently takes off his shirt, with strong resistance on his part first, and then increasingly getting feebler, while he is almost unconscious, under the influence of the medicine. The celebration begins in full swing, with dances and cultural programmes happening. Arti thinks that she shouldnt try his phone, again, but cant resist herself. But the mobile in ishita’s hand, causes ishita to cancel the phone
As she tries the phone again, she cant get through, and is asked by radha to come and sit along with them to enjoy the function.

As the detective is getting late, as cited by ishita, yash is in a dizzy state, ishita gets him water and deliberately poursd it on yash, so that she can ask for the shirt to be removed. But yash vehemently denies. But Ishita insistently takes off his shirt, with strong resistance on his part first, and then increasingly getting feebler, while he is almost unconscious, under the influence of the medicine. The screen freezes on ishita’s evil face.

Scene 1:
Location: Yash’ s residence in Mumbai
Arti rushes to find the dancer, who too finds her and says that she couldnt have left her, along after seeing her pain of losing the child. The dancer tells arti, that the person who tried to kidnap her child, ayu, is somebody from her family only, telling her that its Ishita. Arti is horrified that her worst fears have come true. she asks what else ishita told her. the dancer tells her everything. Vidhi comes and misinterprets the situation, and reprimands the dancer. But arti tells vidhi that she had in fact wanted to tell her everything. Vidhi is suprrised to hear ishita’s name, when the dancer mentions what a dangerous lady ishita is. Arti says that she must have taken someone else’s help then, after her first kidnap attempt failed. She asks the dancer for her help, in any info that she can render. The dancer tells that the people involved in kidnapping belonged to her locality. She tells about the orphanage, where they kept the baby. Vidhi identifies it to be the same as the one that pari and prateik got their son from. arti is shocked at this revelation.

Arti goes on to reprimand her for her low life character, while ishita is very happy of her success, eyeing yash’s shirt. Arti says that she has found a solid proof against her, which she wont be able to defy. Ishita says that she is a little too late

Yash tries to talk to ishita, asking her to make him talk to arti, but he collapses on the bed. arti is restless hearing yash’s voice. Ishita cancels the phone, much to arti’s discomfort. Yash continues asking for arti. Ishita says that he can talk to arti, but first that would happen, which has to, and after that she can give her that happiness, that yash is now ishita’s and not arti’s, and he wouldforever be hers, caressing him all the while.
The driver tells arti that yash has gone to hotel blue diamond, and arti begins to go to the hotel along with the driver. Prateik stops arti, but she goes away saying that she cant wait and explain anything right now, as yash is in danger, and she has to hurry. Arti leaves. Pratiek goes inside and tells the family what arti told her. He says that he doesnt know whats wrong, but arti said that yash might be in danger. Vidhi says that she knows. when asked, vidhi says that she doesnt know whats right or wrong, but she relates the entire story to them, as she heard from the dancer, shocking the family. Buaji thinks that becuase of her, ishita came in the family, and she had a doubt too and also told her not to do anything like that. Radha is in a state of disbelief.

She comes to him, and says that she wishes he understood without saying, that she loved him even before arti came in his life, and that she loves him more than her life, and that he ws forever hers. she says that she was much tormented due to him, and asks him to accept her now, after all this wait. Yash says in a dizzy state, that he loves only arti. Ishita gets irritated and starts to convince him to rethink his stance and give her a chance on love. Yash reprimands ishita for doing this, when she is his sister in law. She says that her love for him has driven her to do this. She tells him that she would leave anything for him, and she doesnt love akash at all, and has saved herself for him. Yash jerks her away. But ishita tries to convince him, that she would be a far better lover than ishita. He asks her to stop talking nonsense. She asks him not to talk like this. She asks him to forget arti, and be with her, just like he forgot his first wife, and got on with arti. As yash is asleep, ishita leans on him asking him to just think of her, and noone else.
Arti comes in and finds them like that, and her eyes are blood shot with anger. Arti drags her by the hair, and reprimands her for doing what she did, and calls her a taint on the name of a woman. ishita asks her to stop talking, as she’s had enough, and now she wont let her come between her and yash. they get into a verbak scuffle and a handfist too. Arti asks if she has gone mad, ishita says that she has gone mad indeed in yash’s love. Arti slaps her, for this, and while ishita tries to slap her too, she holds her hands, and swears that she would have to teach ishita a lesson, and ties by the end of her saree, to the chair, while she keeps ranting helplessly about letting go to be with yash.
Arti goes on to throw water on yash, to jerk him into consciousness. Arti tells yash everything that the dancer told her. Yash asks the name of the orphanage, and arti tells her that its MUKTI ORPHANAGE. Ishita tells arti that she would never find ayu, and even if she does, she would never be able to recognise him. Arti says that those who dig a trap for others, fall in it themselves, and that her goddess is by her side, and now nothing would be wrong with her. Ishita tells her that she would never get ayu, nor even be happy wityh any relation of hers. Arti tells her that she doesnt even know what she has lost out on, as she has lost every relation, that was showered on her, and that one day she would regret it badly. As yash tells her that its no use, as she’s not even worth that. They begin to get going, while ishita asks them not to. she is able to untie her hands, and her eyes fall on the knife kept besides the fruits. Ishita asks her to stop, with the knife behind her, saying that she cant leave with the love of her life. Ishita tells arti that she has already lost enough, and now even if she has to face the guillotine for killing her, she is ready to accept that. She goes on to stab arti with a knife, but is interrupted by yash, who slaps her and shoves her aside. Yash says that hand should never be raised on a woman, but arti was right in calling her a taint on the name of the woman. Ishita is hurt. The screen freezes on arti’s face.

Ishita turns back and demands for forgiveness, citing that she just did it out of love. ishita is asked by arti to get away from yash and her kids, as they are most important to her, and she wont let her ruin them. she asks ishita where is ayu. Ishita says that she can do anything she wants, but she wont tell her. Arti holds a showpiece and threatens to hit her with it, if she doesnt tell.
Ishita apologizes and tells arti about ayu, being the same child that pari and prateik have adopted. arti refuses to believe in shock, but ishita insists that its their ayu. Arti is in disbelief, telling yash that they couldnt even recognise ayu, being in their own house. Ishita stealthily slips away from there, distracting arti. Arti tells yash that they should reveal the truth about ishita to the family, before she does any other evil thing, and that they should get to ayu, before she harms him anymore. But they are shocked to find that ishita is missing from the room. Arti calls out for ishita and runs after her. Ishita runs away from there hurriedly, and gets into her car and drives off, while arti misses her by the fraction of an inch. Yash is told by arti, that they should hurry, home before ishita does anything else. Yash hugs her tight, and says that he loves her, and tells her that nothing would happen to ayu, as he’s safe, comforting her. yash says that at the time of marriage, he had promised that he would save hi\er from every trouble, but she has fulfilled the promise in true means, as if anything had happened today, he would never have been able to face her, and would have died. Arti asks him not to talk like that, as they would always be together, despite ishita’s attempts to destroy their love, in which she succeeded too, by taking their ayu away from them, and getting yash angry on arti. She says that with the grace of god, they have everything now, and would live happily forever.

She says that arti rightly found ayu, on the mother’s day, and therefore she couldnt have been defeated on today of all days. she blesses arti to be happy always. she says that on woman’s day, she has rightly proved herself to be the Best Mother and the Best Wife too. Vidhi comments on the coincidence, that ayu had to be adopted after his kidnap, by pari only, and come back to their house. pari is visible upset. Evereyone is very happy about the recent happenings. The kids get ayu for cheering up arti. Pari is sadly looking. Arti talks to ayu saying that he always used to quiten up when he came in her arms as he recognised his mother, but she apologiuzes for not having recognised her own son, even when she held him in her arms.
Seeing this, pari leaves from there. Pratiek too joins her. Pari is distraught in her room, and in tears. Prateik tries to console her, but pari goes on to say how she has been deprived of her happiness, just to giev arti her joy back, and that noone’s even bothered of her sadness. Prateik tries to make her understand that they may have adopted ayu, but his real mother is arti, and they dont have the right to take her away from ayu. Pari says that she loves him very much. Prateik says that if she loves ayu truely, then she would want him to be with his true mother, and wouldnt want him to seperated by his mother, blinded by her own motherly affection. pari quitens down hearing that.
Vidhi asks where ishita went, and why didnt they hand her over to the police. Pankaj too agrees. But yash says that she wont be a trouble anymore, as she’s this wise, not to be such a fool. arti too agrees, but wonders how would akash feel, when he knows about ishita’s true face, as he’s deeply fallen in love with her. They dont realise that akash has actually heard all that, having come into the drawing room, without anyone’s notice. they are all shocked. Arti tries to clarify that it wasnt yash’s fault, and ishits was behind all this. But akash goes straight upto yash, and with folded hands apologizes for ishita’s mistake. He says that he isnt such a fool, to find yash’s fault in all of this. Yash hugs him, and pankja too consoles akash. He comes to arti and says that noone can break Ram- sita, and ishita was a fool not to have understood this. Radha says that she’s proud of him, being her son, and blesses him. All are happy.
Pari comes down and addresses arti. Prateik too comes with her. She tells arti that she’s very happy that arti has found her ayu back, and that she was living in loneliness, and finally a mother-son duo found each other. pari insists that she’s happy, and after all, ayu isnt seperating from her, and will be in the same house, in front of her eyes. Pari says that she has a request, and if she can hug Arti’s son Ayu once. As pari extends her hands out to hold ayu, arti is in a fix what to do. Seeing this pari retreats her hand away. Arti calls her, and asks how could she think that for holding her own son in her lap, she needs someone’s permission. pari is overjoyed, when arti says that not just once, she can hold him thousands of times, and raise her, and says that he’s pari’s and prateik’s child only. She says that ayu cant have a better couple as parents than pari and prateik. Arti says that officially ayu is hers and prateik’s son only, even if all the kids live under the same roof. pari thanks her for this, and says that she infact is very generous as noone else would have been able to do this, as prateik’s always told her that noone’s like arti. She says that she refused to believe it out of jealousy, and also mistreated her, but she has proved today, that noone is as noble and true hearted as her. She says that noone thought that yash’s second wife, would win everyone’s hearst like this, but she surprisingly proved everyone wrong, and that this remarriage is not only a boon for her, but for yash and his family too. Arti says that she did no favour to anyone, and that if she gave them happiness, she got the same in return too. They hug each other.

She says that arti didnt leave any realtion for her to be with, and also made her stoop so low in yash’s eyes too. In her car, ishita thinks that she would never forgive arti for what she did, and that she would never let her live in peace. she decides that she would come back to destroy her life and have her revenge on her. She takes off her mangalsutra and throws it on the ground of the car. The screen freezes on her tensed avengeful face.
